Jonamay (Joni) Lambert
Senior Vice President of Marketing and Client Engagement Leader

Jonamay (Joni) Lambert is the Senior Vice President of Marketing and Client Engagement Leader for The Kaleidoscope Group. Prior to joining the organization in 2010, Joni owned and managed Lambert & Associates, Inc., a diversity training, coaching and consulting firm she founded in 1986.  Joni has a 20 year proven track record in providing thought leadership, senior executive education, strategy planning and instructional design. More recently she has been engaged in coaching and mentoring across lines of difference.

Prior to starting Lambert & Associates, she did extensive work in prison education.  She was Executive Director of a not-for-profit school housed in the Cook County Jail in Chicago.  She was awarded a grant from the Illinois Board of Education to develop a multicultural curriculum for teachers working in prison and jail settings. Joni has worked with clients in industries including financial services, pharmaceuticals, health care, manufacturing, profit and not-for-profit organizations.

Joni has been featured in Diversity Inc., quoted by the media, and has presented at national and international conferences such as the American Society of Training and Development (ASTD), the National Society for Human Resource Management (SHRM), the Society of Intercultural Education Training and Research (SIETAR) and other organizations. She is the author of a series of trainers' guides that are used by domestic and global organizations. She is editor and contributing author of "Global Competence." Her 13th and latest book, "Trainer's Diversity Sourcebook", is published by ASTD and SHRM.

Joni belongs to several organizations including Sales and Marketing Executives International (SMEI), SIETAR, and SHRM. In her spare time, Joni spends time on her farm in Indiana and with her two teenagers.  Jonamay holds a Bachelor’s degree in education and a MA in Counseling.  She is also a certified coach.
